Authentic Old World ambiance and cuisine awaits you in the Ratskeller Restaurant of the historic Turner Hall of Monroe, the only Turner Hall of Swiss origin left in the US. Listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places, the walls of the Ratskeller chronicle the history and influence of Swiss immigration on the area. The building itself is historic. I remember being a turner, with Rosie as our gymnastics coach. But this is about the restaurant. Don't be confused by going downstairs to get there. Once you are there, you are transported back in time to a Swiss atmosphere with a lot of history. The food is outstanding! The staff very accommodating. We held a 90th for our dad and it was a very special time. The food spread was very delicious. The pulled pork was super juicy, the drinks great and stiff. Don't go anywhere else and spend a ton of money for subpar food. Come to the Rathskeler and enjoy a great meal, great atmosphere and great company!

Turner Hall often has a wonderful salad bar. A great assortment of veggies fresh & crisp with mouth-watering, fresh made dressings & toppers that promise to wake up your taste buds! Several different types of delicious, creamy, salads are all made fresh by the chef! And the soups are made fresh & get your tummy ready for your main course! For main course buffet, you need to contact Turner Hall Rattskeller to see what & if a buffet is being made the day you want to come. Menu lunches are delicious! And everything is reasonably priced, whether you experience the ?? Swiss cuisine, German, or American. Oh, don't forget to have dessert! Enjoy!
